Open Question: Does this look like a good laptop for college?

It's a Sony VAIO laptop. I don't play games on the computer, nor am I a big computer person lol. All I need it for is going online, Microsoft office, and downloading music and watching movies/shows online. Two things I need is for it to be fast and let me do a bunch of things at once. And for it not to break cuz I wont know how to fix it! lol

Also, is it super important to buy some anti-virus thing, or can I just download one of those online ones. I think that's what on my computer now and its fine.
